We Test the Actual Membership Experience

We don’t consider looking at a site’s public homepage enough to write a meaningful review.

When reviewing a site, we access the membership area so we can see what members actually receive. A well-produced 6K scene can sometimes provide a better experience than a poorly produced or heavily compressed 8K scene. For that reason, advertised resolution is only one part of our Video Quality score.

We Test With Different VR Headsets

Where practical, we use different VR headsets when evaluating playback and compatibility.

This matters because the same VR video doesn’t necessarily provide an identical experience on every headset. Display resolution, lenses, supported codecs, playback software, streaming performance, and device capabilities can all influence the final result.

Testing with different hardware also helps us identify whether a problem comes from the site or video itself rather than a particular headset or playback configuration.

We don’t require every video to be tested on every headset we have access to. Instead, we use multiple devices where they help us evaluate compatibility and the real-world viewing experience.

We Test Streaming

Streaming is one of the most common ways people watch VR porn, so we test the site’s streaming experience rather than judging video quality exclusively from downloaded files.

We look at factors such as:

Our 100-Point VR Porn Site Rating System

Sites evaluated under our current rating system can receive a maximum score of 100 points across seven categories.

Overall Impression — 20 Points

Overall Impression reflects the complete experience of using the site.

Rather than measuring one specific feature, we consider how well everything comes together: content, video quality, performance, design, usability, features, pricing, and the overall experience of being a member.

A site can have excellent 8K videos and still lose points here if the membership is frustrating to use, poorly organized, overpriced, rarely updated, or has other significant weaknesses.

Likewise, a site doesn’t have to be the market leader in every individual category to receive a strong Overall Impression score if it consistently provides a good experience.

Video Quality — 15 Points

Video Quality measures what the VR content actually looks and feels like inside a headset.

We consider resolution, clarity, compression, frame rate, stereoscopic depth, camera placement, immersion, audio, streaming quality, and overall production quality.

Higher advertised resolution can help, but it doesn’t automatically produce a higher score. We judge the actual viewing experience rather than simply comparing specification numbers.

Content Quantity — 15 Points

Content Quantity considers both the size and usefulness of the VR library.

We don’t look only at the headline number advertised by the site. We also consider variety across:

Value receives 20 points because price matters, but the cheapest membership doesn’t automatically receive the highest score.
